Privacy and processing of personal data policy

With the entry into force of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on 25 May 2018, Ligare provides its clients with greater awareness and control over the personal data provided to Ligare, as well as the way in which these are processed.

Your data shall be processed by Ligare – Expanding Knowledge, Lda, with a registered office at Rua Eng. Castanheira das Neves, Lt 3, 2Dto 2660-016 Frielas Portugal, Tax Identification No. 514703989 (“Ligare”). This company is responsible for the processing of your personal data and guarantees respect for the privacy of the Users of its website http://www.ligare.co, within the meaning of the RGPD.

DATA PROTECTION

The data are securely processed, stored, and protected in conformity with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

The collected data are used only for the purposes of commercial management and marketing, with the main aim of developing commercial activities involved in the provision of products and services. For this reason, Ligare may use your data to send you information about its products and services. This processing of data shall only be carried out with your consent, provided during the completion of the contact form available on the Ligare website, or during the enrolment in events organized/co-organized by Ligare. If you agree, you will receive marketing communications via e-mail. Failure to provide your personal data (name and e-mail) makes it impossible for Ligare to send you commercial communications.

Whenever you receive a newsletter from Ligare, you can access the Mailchimp platform through the provided link, in order to update your data or cancel your subscription to the newsletter.

The data subject can, at any time, access, rectify, delete, update, eliminate, and object to any personal data provided to Cilnet, such as request clarifications via electronic mail to info@ligare.co.

Right of access

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from Ligare confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed and, where that is the case, to access his or her personal data and access information provided for by law.

If you wish to receive more than one copy of your personal data being processed, Ligare may charge an administrative fee for that service.

Right to rectification

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from Ligare’s company, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data concerning him or her.

Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from Ligare’s company the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay and the company shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies:

a) The personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;

b) The data subject withdraws his or her consent regarding data processing (in those cases in which processing is based on consent) and where there is no other legal ground for the processing;

c) The data subject objects to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing;

Right to restriction of processing

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from Ligare restriction of processing where one of the following situations applies:

a) The accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling Ligare to verify the accuracy of the personal data;

b) The processing is unlawful, and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead;

c) Ligare no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;

d) The data subject has objected to processing pending the verification as to whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.

Right to data portability

If the processing is based on the consent of the data subject and that consent has been provided by automated means, the data subject shall have the right to receive the personal data concerning him or her, which he or she has provided to Ligare, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

Right to object

In those cases where personal data are processed for legitimate reasons pursued by Ligare; or 2) where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes or 3) profiling, the data subject shall have the right to object, at any time, to the processing of personal data concerning him or her.

Your requests will be processed with particular caution in order to ensure the effectiveness of your rights. You may be asked to provide evidence of your identity in order to ensure that the personal data are only shared with their data subject.

Please note that in certain cases (for example, due to legal requirements) your request may not be immediately met.

In any case, you shall be informed of the measures adopted to that end, within one month of the moment when the request was made.

DATA PROCESSING COLLECTION AND MANAGEMENT

Ligare collects data as follows:

  • when you provide your personal data on the contact page;

  • through the indication of a third party.

In some cases, Ligare may collect and process anonymous data, namely:

  • the internet domain from which a data subject accessed the Ligare website;

GENERAL PROVISIONS
